How do I set up my email account in the Famoo email gadget?

In order to set-up the email gadget to send and recieve emails from your email account, open the email gadget and click on the settings buttom and enter the following information. If you don’t have or don’t know any of the details, please contact your internet service provider or check the information they have provided you.

SMTP Address: Generally either smtp.yourdomain.com or mail.yourdomain.com
SMTP Port: 25 is the default but check the details from you ISP
Enable SSL: Refer to the details provided by your ISP
Email: Enter your email address example: me@yourdomain.com
Username: Enter your account user name
Password: Enter your account password

Click NEXT

Tick use the same log-in and password for SMTP if the details are the same. For normal users, this would be the case and is ticked by default.

If you are using IMAP, tick IMAP
IMAP Address: imap.yourdomain.com
IMAP Port: 143 is the default but adjust according to the setting provided by your ISP
Enable SSL: Only tick if specified by your ISP

If you are using POP3, tick POP3 (this is generally the standard)
POP3 Address: pop.yourdomain.com or mail.yourdomain.com
POP3 Port: 110 is the default
Enable SSL: Tick this box if you need to enable SSL.

Click NEXT

There will be a slight delay as Famoo checks and confirms that your email settings are correct. If there are any errors, please refer to the details provided by your ISP on how to set up your email account.
